Our story
As British-born Africans, we embraced our culture in spaces that may not have been as prominent, even in a multicultural society. The expression of our heritage was found in the traditional clothing we wore on special occasions, a unique fusion of African fabrics with Western urban style, a testament to our dual cultural identity. This fusion, a distinctive and unparalleled aspect of Axum Clothing, was discovered amid African culture's growing popularity in music, fashion, and sports. We believed that our culture was missing in the contemporary streetwear market and wanted to bring this fusion to create a space that celebrates the growing success of African culture, a brand that our African enthusiasts can proudly identify themselves with.
